A knight’s tale
I designed this proposed logo for an upcoming luxury community which borrows it’s name from an upscale British neighborhood – a name that originated from a Medieval legend of two Knights who battled to their deaths at a bridge located within said neighborhood. The design draws inspiration from that tale. The shape mimics a knight’s shield, as well as the shape of a heraldic flag – typically hung from a horizontal post along the top of the flag. However instead of a post, I designed it to be “hanging” from a key – which is a reference to this project being a community of homes. The “K”, which is the monogram of this neighborhood, is custom–molded to fit the shape of the shield.
As much as I enjoyed designing this branding, it however did not pass the proposal stage…ending up on the cutting room floor.
